Seattle, July 12, 2024 – Today King County Superior Court Judge Michael Scott ruled that the attorney general does not have legal authority to enforce a subpoena against the Archdiocese of Seattle, specifically noting that the religious exemption in the Charitable Trust Act stands. READ MORE

In preparation for tomorrow’s hearing with the Attorney General, please read the 2 letters from the Archdiocese. This is your opportunity to understand the issue at hand. The AG hearing is public and will begin at 1:30pm, July 12th. After the hearing, we will issue a post-hearing statement.

St. Joachim Catholic Church on the Lummi Reservation will be celebrating St. Kateri Tekakwitha’s feast day with the Annual St. Kateri Tekakwitha Mass on Thursday, July 11, at 5.00 pm.
