March for Life
The March For Life in Olympia will be Tuesday, January 21. We will begin with Mass at 8:00 a.m. at St. Mary, Anacortes and depart by bus at 8:30 a.m. Signups will begin after Masses the weekend of January 4-5, and continue the following weekend. Bus fare is $20 for adults and children 12 years of age and over; $10 for children ages 5 to 11; and $5 for children under 5. We will celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, with Eucharistic Adoration in the church directly following the 6:00 p.m. Vigil Mass on December 31st, throughout the night, until Benediction before the morning Mass at 9:00 a.m. on January 1st. St. MerryFest 2014 is fast approaching! Please save the date: June 13, 14, and 15. Volunteer sign-up cards are available in the pew pockets, so please indicate how you can help. Help is especially needed in the parish food booth and parking. Remember that this event can only be a success if everyone chips in! Donations are also appreciated so that we can provide wristbands for needy children who otherwise would not be able to attend. Each registered family will be receiving ten tickets to sell. Any tickets you are unable to sell can be returned to the church office. Thank you in advance for your efforts!

We are forming a Rummage Sale Committee and an organizational meeting is set for Wednesday, June 4th at 7p.m.  Join us in Rm 5 of the FAC to share ideas and vamp out a plan to lighten the responsibilities of the rummage sales for the Belles of St Mary. The majority of us are retired and feeling our age, and we need young strong workers. The rummage sales support the Liturgical and Faith Formation needs of the Parish of which we all are apart.  We would appreciate a family or two to help in the shed as donations come in during the months  between the rummage sales which are in May and October. ...

“Friar’s Feast by the Bay” is Sunday July 27th at 4pm. Each attendee will have a chance to win a Lithograph “signed” in pencil by the hand of Pablo Picasso, which is gallery priced between $8-10K includes “COA.” [Certificate of Authenticity].
