One particant recently said 'the session was a great opportunity to listen to fellow parishioners and learn a great deal about the depth of faith and love of God that exists in our parish'. And another participant said, 'I was given the opportunity to speak my mind in a safe place, and being in a diverse group brought out experiences that I was called to share.'

All are invited to participate in a one-time Listening Session. The Synod is all of us praying to the Holy Spirit and then coming together to discuss and listen to our views on our Church and Faith Community. In the parish setting, parish staff, parishioners, council members, young adults, parents of children in school or faith formation, and those who may have left the parish during the pandemic, or for other reasons, should feel welcome to come! The idea is to reach out to as many people as possible.

These are the questions asked during the listening session. To prepare, please pray over and discern the Holy Spirit’s voice as He speaks to our hearts.

• How is journeying together (Synodality) happening today in our local Church?
• What steps does the Holy Spirit invite us to take to grow as we journey together?
