Thank you for an incredible and mercy-filled Faith on Fire 2016!
Mark your calendar for next summer...
July 14-16, 2017 is the weekend for next year's Faith on Fire!
If you recall, we said we would pass along links to any of the talks so you can listen to them yourself or share them with others. Msgr. Pope has posted his talks:
Confession Going Deeper
Fatherhood and Mercy (and here are some of his written notes on Fatherhood and mercy)
And always feel free to follow his work and ministry throughout the year...

2016 - Celebrating the Jubilee Year of Mercy
It's almost here, and we're calling all kids! Come join us for the Children's Choir (we'll have time during the weekend to gather with our wonderful Mrs. Buyske to sing together) - listen to one of the songs we'll be rehearsing for Sunday's 11am Closing Mass (and practice it before you get here!):
Come for a faith-filled and fun family retreat surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest!
Join in fellowship with others looking to deepen their faith in God. Be inspired by talks which challenge and strengthen us. Soak in the Grace that comes through celebrating the Sacraments. Look to be inspired by so many who have fully given their lives over to serving Christ and His Church.
New this year:
A Day of Mercy - On Saturday, July 16 there will be 12 hours of uninterrupted Confession time. This is a call for all to take advantage of this healing sacrament (you don't have to be registered to come to Mass, Adoration, or Confession - just come!)
Energized praise music on Saturday afternoon with Dennis Zender.
A Healing Service of Mercy - bring your prayers and rest in the Holy Spirit
Additional breakout sessions for all to enjoy.
Talks centering on mercy: Living out the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, Forgiveness, Speaking the Truth in Love in our secular world, Marian mercy, Mercy and fatherhood, and more!
Can't make it for the full weekend? We have a new one-day rate - join us for part of the weekend. We want to share this wonderful time with you.
We are welcoming an incredible line-up of dynamic and inspiring speakers...some are new to Faith on Fire, some are returning favorites. All of them share the Gospel with great love. What a great opportunity to soak in the wisdom in their prepared talks as well as enjoy conversation and company with them afterwards.
Make plans to be with us July 15-17 (and if you can only make it one day...we welcome you!)
Who should attend?
This is a family event - we want your family! And bring family friends, too. Let's strengthen and build up our Catholic community together.
If you are a father, mother, daughter, son, uncle, aunt, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, brother, or sister this conference is for you. If you are single, married, a young adult, a not-so-young adult, a college student, (or not), there will be something for you. If you are Catholic, a fallen-away Catholic, a Protestant, an agnostic, someone just in search of Truth from any religious background (or none at all), please know you are welcome. As a member of the Family of God we all have a place in this Catholic Family Conference. Join us this July 31 - August 2.
What to Expect:
From the speakers’ personal experiences, we’ll receive positive insights on how to address the challenges and pressures we all face today in family, marriage, work, faith, and church. They will guide us in ways to direct our time, thoughts, and energy toward forming a personal relationship with God, and provide insights into how to become better disciples of Christ, going out and evangelizing to the world.
Families of all sizes and ages come to rejuvinate their faith. Expect to be surrounded by warm fellowship, a beautiful and relaxing environment, and others honestly seeking to do the will of God. Come to be encouraged and inspired.
Be sure to bring a blanket or outdoor chair (& sunscreen!) - we will enjoy these talks on the lawn of St. Mary Church (or keep in the shade under the big tent). Say a prayer for the beautiful July weather we love! Check out Conference Basics to learn more.
